What to eat Wednesday- Banana Bread

When I moved to Colorado I lived with a family and helped take care of their little boy and little girl during the day while the mom was at school. This banana bread recipe came from her. I love it warm out of the oven with butter. When I make it, it totally takes me back to living in Colorado. Living in a place with mountains. The cool air. The 3 o'clock showers. And the little people I helped take care of and their sweet little voices.

1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter
3 T sour cream/yogurt
2 C flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
3 large mashed bananas
1/2 C nuts optional

grease bottom only of pan
Bake for 1 hour at 350-

hey there Stranger! I have missed you. I need to come by more often & say Hi! Thank you so much for the Birthday comment. That was so sweet.. It was such a great day.
Your banana bread looks so yummy! Everytime I buy bananas there gone before I can hide them to make banana bread.. But it sounds so good. So I'll have to do that...
