April Showers bring May flowers

This cute couple is getting married in May- so "we" (me and three friends) threw a "April showers bring May flowers" open house for the bride to be. I loved how everyone planning the shower pitched in to add their bit of flare to the party.

Darling hostess gifts given to us from the bride. My skittles lasted all of 2 days- and if I were to fingerprint the glass they would not have been all my prints ...

This is one of my favorite gifts Kayte received. Her friend took one of the photos from their engagement shots and painted her version of it. I love the tornado in the background. Apparently the weather played an important part in their courting.

I think I may like the painted version even better!

Disney Night

We were invited to a Disney party to talk about the upcoming trip-
The kids were all excited and wore their ears- I love how they are all at varying heights in the back of the car (can't tell if Tucker is scratching or picking his nose)


We were greeted with the "cutest sign ever" (said in Savanna's voice)


All the details were just right.

At the end of the night the kids all got goodie bags filled with mouse fun!


It was a fun night for the whole family!
I was so relieved that everyone behaved. I think they were so mesmerized by all things Disney that they could not possibly do anything but be happy!


They really were so wonderful to have our family of six over!

Come celebrate the day of love this Friday here at my house- we will have yummy treats, a make and take, and lots of laughs to be sure! Stop by anytime after 4- we will be going all afternoon and evening. Bring your kids if you want!

kindergarten christmas party

I loved the words for the bingo game.

I loved going to see Luke have his Christmas party-(I missed the Thanksgiving feast- got there right at the tale end and had more than a few parents tell me I missed Luke saying the prayer for the feast, and what a beautiful prayer it was) It is always fun to see kids in their classrooms. They had fun centers-There was one with a pair of Santas long underwear and Luke thought the poem that went with it was so funny that he kept repeating it all day long. I love that they still get to have parties.
