what to eat wednesday-popcorn
Popcorn- Love to eat this with our friends the Ryans-
and since we are in TX- I thought I would feature this today. I had never had pepper on my popcorn until I had it with them! I love it, although I don't think the rest of my family does. I know that 1 of the kids will eat it with me....can't remember which one!
Donna's instructions for the popcorn is this:
Popcorn kernals keep best in the freezer.
It will not pop well after being exposed to air for too long.
Salt & Pepper popcorn
Pop popcorn in about 1/3 cup oil-make sure you have enough oil to pop it.
Then immediately after popping, butter and salt and pepper. Taste and add more if needed.
Now for the Sugar Popcorn (kettle corn)
Add a TB or a little more to the 1/3 cup oil and stir before adding kernals. Pop the corn and salt immediately afterward.
