Update- Post-op
We just left Luke's last appointment with Dr. Ozaki for this trip.
He removed everything from Lukes nose- and wow
He looks great! It is so amazing to me! Just amazing.
Dr. Ozaki was pleased with how things looked.
He has a little bit of bruising on the tip of his nose from running into a screen door on sunday-and a little bit of a scab under his nose. But other than that it looks great.
I am so glad to be on this side of things-and looking forward! He still does not feel a big difference of how it feels to breathe yet. He says it all feels big.
We visited with Dr. Ozaki about future surgeries for Luke- and we even talked about possible revisions for Jay for his lip and nose.. He took photos, and had him fill out paperwork.
He talked about improving Jay's lip function, and put muscle in the middle where he has none. He would decrease the current scaring.
We enjoyed being able to talk with Dr. Ozaki so much. This trip we have been able to visit with Dr. Ozaki more than we ever did in Oregon. He spent so much personal time, going over every question, and listening to all our ramblings.
I loved his staff- the girls at the front desk. Ginger and Yolanda the nurses-
We feel so grateful to have been able to travel out here. We feel so confident in Dr. Ozaki's care!

What a great DR. He sounds so nice & informative... That's great that he took all that time to answer questions.
