He packs more than goldfish and cheerios

It is no surprise to anyone that getting out the door for church on time can be a struggle for me. I try- and most of the time I do alright. But I usually look down and one of the littles is missing something, like a belt or their shirts are not buttoned. But we are there.

Well this Sunday the youngest decided to bring something extra with him. In my hurried state I did not look to see what he was carrying. I had no idea. But luckily the oldest two did.
Jack said- " Mom, I can't believe you let him bring that in here."
Followed by Savanna saying almost at the exact same time, "Mom, are you sure you want Tucker having that inside?"

I looked down to Tucker's hands to see what the fuss was about.

A gun. In church.
Hmmmmmm.

LOL! I love it, but maybe a sword or a cimetar would have been more appropriate for church. ;)

Well, I'm sure he was only going to use it to *threaten* the people not paying attention. I doubt he would have actually shot anyone. :)

That is so something my brother would have done and I'm sure he's youngest son would do too. That is a great story.

That's great.

We usually have a pat down as we are walking out the door to uncover contraban.

Well, they were working on that law to make it legal to carry a gun in church. I guess we know what side he would pick, eh?

And I agree- cute shoes!

What ever happened to Jack's wooden spoons? That would have been less conspicious.

Your shoes ARE cute.

That is so funny. I wish I'd seen him carry it in.

Too funny - The things boys will do and bring with them. I saw the comment about Jacks spoons. I remember that - too cute!
