If there were a badge in mothering for keeping your children shod I would not earn it. Not for lack of trying. Day 2 of shoe shopping and half of the children found a pair of shoes.
If you see my children wearing shoes that are
1. too small
2. have holes in them
4. the remains of what once was a shoe
3. or non existent
know that I tried. I really, really tried.

I have actually blogged about what a trial this is for me with two of my children (I'll let you guess which two.) The third one walks in, looks around, points and says "that pair" and we walk out the door, paid and newly shod in less than ten minutes. Why can't it ALWAYS be that way???
