Last night we made a very unplanned trip to Kohl's where we made a very unplanned purchase.
The first thing he thought of when he woke up.Shoes. For the one who needs them the least.
We found some for Luke, and once Tucker saw them he begged to try them on.
He kept saying over and over- "These shoes are so awesome!"
He wore them out of the store.
This morning I just happened to peek into his room right as he was waking up. He rubbed his eyes and then slowly moved his hands away from his face. He saw me and gave a shy little wave and with his groggy, sleepy, voice said- "My shoes are so awesome!"
He could hardly wait to get dressed so he could put them on.

Oh Alisa, what a sweet post. I love the photos of the shoes, too. Such a little thing to get so many happy pictures.
Black Chucks! You don't get more awesome than that.
That kid is so awesome. What could you do, but to buy those shoes. Maddy did that with a Polly Pocket when she was about 3. She was the cutest thing and SOSOOO excited about it.
That story brightens my day. Plus, you are a fabulous picture taker.
